The business is registered at 2825 Atlantic Ave, Atlantic City, NJ 08401; use this page to check its hours, phone number and Google rating before you make the trip. Italian restaurants, sub shops, calzone counters and Italian delis sit next to the pizzerias on this site because most of them bake pizza too, often from the same dough. Full-service Italian restaurants take reservations for dinner, add a tip line for table service (15-20% is customary) and usually run a cheaper lunch menu on weekdays. Sub and sandwich shops are counter-order and quick, with sizes by the inch or in half and whole lengths. Calzones and strombolis are priced like a medium pizza and are large enough to share. Italian delis and bakeries sell by weight and by the piece, and many close mid-afternoon.

Hours are published for 5 days a week. The most common schedule is 4:30–8:30 pm. It is closed on Monday, Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (609) 344-6913. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, cafe2825.com.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.6 out of 5 from 986 reviews, which is a strong result for an italian restaurant in Atlantic City and suggests consistent service.

Atlantic City is in New Jersey, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Atlantic City is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New Jersey's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Lively, small dining room, loud but enjoyable. Hard to get a reservation here. Best bet is to call the day you want to visit around 3-4 PM and see if there is an opening. The hostess and server were nothing special - did not make my party of 4 feel welcomed. The menu was unique and intriguing - everything from appetizers, to salad, to mains (steak, pork chop, seafood, pasta) and sides. Also, they have a full bar with special cocktails. The specials menu included some really creative dishes. The most special things about this cafe are the tableside preparations - try the fresh mozzarella and pasta in cheese wheel - you wont be disppointed! I had the veal parm "grandma style" with sauce and cheese. Huge portion and cooked to perfection. Be prepared to pay at least $40-70 for entrees and sides are all a la carte. They do have a back patio room if you wish to eat in there, but I would recommend the main room, to have the full experience.

May 2026: The BEST homemade blueberry cheesecake ever. It was so good, I went back the next two days for more. The veal osso buco was also very delicious. My hat goes off to the chefs. Great service in a cozy atmosphere. Enjoy!

I have waited too long to go here. This place is everything I expected it to be, and believe me, my expectations were HIGH. Food was phenomenal- table side pasta, mozzarella and Caesar are a must. Service is impeccable. This place is not just food- it's dining in the true sense. Beautiful experience. Cannot wait to return.

This is our favorite AC restaurant and top 3 all around. Call 2+ weeks in advance and leave a voicemail to try for a reservation, as you will need one. It's unlikely you walk in here on a whim and get a table. It's not cheap, but as they say, good stuff isn't cheap and cheap stuff isn't good. While that isn't always true when it comes to food, this place is worth every penny. We shared the roasted beet salad. I had the fettuccine with lobster, crab, and shrimp, and my girlfriend had the wild mushroom pasta. Both were fantastic. You could sit down and say "surprise me," and whatever they serve will be excellent. We're already making plans for visit #5 and I hope to be back for many more.

BIRTHDAY DINNER! 8 of us experienced cafe 2825 together this Saturday night. We had a 7pm reservation and were seated right away. Everything was super delicious! We enjoyed table side Cesar salad, table side pasta heated in a cheese wheel, appetizers, entrees and desserts. Some highlights were the hot honey calamari, veal Parmesan Fra Diavlo bolognese, Halibut Orgenato (special) and more. If you have the chance to go for a special dinner, you should. AMAZING food and service!
